Restored Voice (Throat Chakra)

The fifth chakra, Vishuddha, is the first of the three spiritual chakras. To be open and aligned in the fifth chakra is to speak, listen, and express yourself from a higher form of communication. Faith and understanding are the essence of the Vishuddha chakra. The element corresponding to the fifth chakra is ether or space, and the sense is hearing. Every single voice is essential. In a world filled with loud voices, we can easily be intimidated into not sharing our opinions. When we don't say what we need to say, our throat chakra closes up, and physical pain can increase until we release what is in our soul.
